ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
Competent domestic help from the Odenwald care center
Regular cleaning is necessary if you want to feel comfortable in your own four walls. Older people in particular are no longer so easy to manage their own household. Then a support is of great help for them, which is available at the Odenwald Care Center. There are more than 20 employees working in the housekeeping area at the Odenwald care center, who are available at short notice to provide competent household help. Their activities range from housekeeping, including shopping, cooking, cleaning the apartment, reading aloud, washing or going for a walk to providing care assistance. Regular in-house training courses for housekeeping staff at the Odenwald care center help to permanently improve the quality of home help.
In addition to long-term help, only one-time or temporary help is possible with housekeeping. Older people in particular can manage their household flexibly and feel comfortable in their own four walls. As a non-profit organization, the Odenwald Care Center ensures that agreed appointments also take place.
This means that people who want to make use of the services also do not run the risk of private household help not being available due to illness, for example.
If there is a classification in a care level, domestic care can also be claimed from the care insurance. Of course, the housekeeping services can also be used privately.
Domestic help for younger people too
Younger people can also request domestic help if they can no longer manage their household on their own. This can be the case, among other things, if a mother can no longer cope with the household chores on her own due to illness or other reasons such as pregnancy or childbirth. Even if the father of a family cannot be at home to look after the children, domestic help can be used to provide support. The prerequisite for the costs to be covered by the health insurance company is that the children are not older than twelve years.
Anyone who would like information about housekeeping or domestic help can get non-binding information from Barbara Neuss in the office of the Odenwald Care Center in Erbach at the Erbach district hospital on 06062 / 9408-16.
There are three other points of contact available at the Odenwald Care Center: on the one hand at Mobile Care Gersprenztal in Reichelsheim on 06164/54651, on the other hand at Mobile Care Beerfelden on 06068/912020 and at Mobile Care Bad König / Brombachtal under the phone number 06063/58575
