Annegret Hoffmann
Dear Parents,
the first years of life are of enormous importance for a child's development. During this period, his willingness to learn and comprehension are very great. Any subsequent learning builds on the first learning experience.
It is therefore important to make the best possible use of this early stage of life for children in need of support, because the earlier support begins, the better development and learning opportunities there are for the child.
The pedagogical early intervention is a compulsory task of the local social welfare agency, which is also regulated in the social code books IX and XII. In addition to the Odenwaldkreis, funding is provided by the State of Hesse and the State Welfare Association of Hesse as part of the localization of the promotion of social aid in Hesse. The offers of the early counseling center are free of charge for parents and enable families to receive comprehensive, needs-based support and advice.
